§ 5-4-6. Electrical inspector—Qualifications.

  • The person chosen as electrical inspector shall be competent and of good moral character, shall be possessed of such executive ability as is required for the faithful performance of his duties, shall have a thorough knowledge of the standard materials and methods used in the installation of electrical equipment, and shall be well-versed in the approved methods of electrical construction for safety to life and property, the statutes of the state relating to electrical work and any rules and regulations issued by authority thereof, the National Electrical Code, as approved by the American National Standards Association.
