§ 5-6-5. Gas inspector—Position created; appointment; compensation.

To provide for the administration and enforcement of this article, the position of gas inspector is hereby created. The inspector, and such assistants as may be necessary in the proper performance of the duties of the position, shall be appointed by the mayor of the city, with the approval of the city council, and the compensation for such position shall be determined at the time of appointment.
